About the Exhibition

Colin Clark and Steve Roberts warmly welcome you to join us on our journey towards their most ambitious exhibition to date, ‘Stillness & Storm’ which will be taking place at Spring Gallery in Cheltenham from 15th – 28th October, 2025.

On our path towards our exhibition, we have both made a commitment to embrace the unknown, working in some unfamiliar territory from both a technical and intellectual standpoint.  We will be providing you a behind-the-scenes look while we push our artwork in new directions by utilising a range of two and three-dimensional forms. Painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics will all be explored as ways to communicate something interesting and meaningful about the nature of the ‘Stillness and Storm’ theme.

Many ideas will be explored along the way including the unconscious mind, changes of mental state, eastern philosophy, the hydrological cycle, duality and the perception of order and chaos. We hope you enjoy our audio, video and blog content which is intended to provide greater context to these themes and many more whilst documenting our progress in unexpected and divergent ways.
